As anticipation heightens for the 'Greatest Reggae Show on Earth',
some 300 Sumfest faithfuls will get to attend the show courtesy of
diamond sponsor, Digicel. Three hundred customers received a ticket each
from the telecommunications giant to attend one night of the show as a
part of its activities leading up to the three-night festival. All
customers had to do was purchase the Huawei Ascend Mate handset between
June 20 and July 10.
One customer, Barbara Salmon, who purchased two of the handsets at the Digicel Experience store downtown Kingston on June 28, exlaimed, "Oh, wow! I purchased these phones for my husband and me, and now to hear that we can go to Sumfest is just great! Already we have started talking about where we're staying, so we are really excited that we're going to Sumfest."
Annalise Harewood, head of recharge at Digicel said, "When we say we are 'turning summer up, up, up' and giving our customers the ultimate passes to the ultimate events, we mean it. This is our way of continuing to give back and give value to our customers while ensuring that they enjoy the events and moments that matter to them."
Ultimate VIP Experience
In Digicel's overall Sumfest Summer promotion, one lucky customer will get a chance to win the Ultimate VIP Experience Sumfest package, which includes VIP tickets for two to Reggae Sumfest for all three nights, accommodation for two in Montego Bay, spa makeover, transportation to Montego Bay as well as transportation to Reggae Sumfest each night. In the meantime, one lucky customer from the Diaspora sending top-up to their families here in Jamaica will also get to win a trip for two to Jamaica for Reggae Sumfest, VIP accommodations and transportation to the show.
